He cries to the ref anyway. Constantly.Only somebody who's not a hardman debates whether he's 'a hardman'.
Imagine Hateley or big Dunc up against him? He'd be crying to the ref non-stop

Single quotes butAbsolutely. 3 pages in and people are still ranting about things he never actually said.
This would probably have been chopped if it was started by a mere poster.Absolutely. 3 pages in and people are still ranting about things he never actually said.
Aye. Right.I know this will be deeply unpopular. The kid needs to grow up a little, but I could see him playing for us.
PS. Please at least put me into the wood chipper headfirst for this.
From the Wealdstone raider to the Leith lard ass, Pair of hard bastards.
You are either.I know this will be deeply unpopular. The kid needs to grow up a little, but I could see him playing for us.

I think the misunderstanding could be yours. "I don't act hard... it's how I play the game" implies that its part of their game that they are hard, he's saying he's not acting. Therefore, 'that which is in quotes in the thread headline', is implied within the subject matter of the text/article and therefore is the correct use of quotes. It doesnt make the title any less clickbateish though from Suck.I think you have a misunderstanding of what single quotes are used for

What’s the obsession with him on here more like?Again, why the mhedia obsession with the big diddy?
Just because they share a hatred of Rangers?
Single quotes do not make misquoting OK
Therefore it is not a 'misquote' if the essence, in this case Porteous being a hard man, is contained within the subject matter whether implied or not!In much specialist writing (including linguistics, philosophy, and theology), terms with particular meanings that are unique to that subject are often enclosed in single inverted commas.
There is a player in there too.
Pitty hes the most unlikeable guy ever and a dirty bastard.
Same ilk as ian black.
It’s heavily impliedHe doesn't actually say that in the article.
Oh right, sorry I didn’t realise he was writing theology. Therefore it is not a 'misquote' if the essence, in this case Porteous being a hard man, is contained within the subject matter whether implied or not!
EDIT: Incidentally in my previous post I implied Suck was being a smartarse. It wouldn't be unreasonable for you to have taken my post and created a new thread titled, 'I'm so bored... thinks/says Suck is a smart arse!'.
It's better if he plays next week I'd sayInjured himself tonight I hear. Hopefully nothing trivial for the twat
Yes it does but not dirty players. A good strong fair tackle is still allowed. Uneccessary agression is no longer tolerated. The game now days doesn’t allow for “hard” players
I was going to write that, but thought I would scroll down to see if anybody had. My sentiments entirely.Imagine him coming up against Hurlock, Souness, or even Ian Ferguson, he would shite it!
He tries it with Alfie and fails miserablyWould love to see him try to bully a Mark Hateley type. The big man would elbow his Turkish teeth out in jig time.
Just like the other plastic hardman Brown. So hard he throws himself on the deck trying to get Morelos into trouble. A real hard man.
Glans Penis. Commonly referred to as the bell end or German helmet.Walloper. End of.
