Another vote for East Kilbride
I looked at one and the rent was £288000 lolLondon but rental prices would be mental

The Burns Howff public bar is located just off the main street in Renfrew. This traditional public house has been run by the same owners for a number of years and is very much a locals bar for the Renfrew people. was this Simons Bar?
I spoke too a few lads about New York and Toronto, they don't think there would be a big enough appetite for itLondon
Belfast
Malaga
Toronto or Niagara Falls
New York
The owners of Rasoi, and round about are bears.
Is Carriages closed now? Did they show the games previously?
They fucked up the Eagle Lodge in the Briggs for the football when they bought it over.
Good bears too.
I was thinking more of Argyle Street beyond the Kelvin Hall along to Finnieston Street. Great footfall there, near SSEC etc , nightlife , not far from Squinty bridge.Partick if the west end is your thinking.
Are you thinking within Glasgow or looking at other cities? (To aid with suggestions)Stuck in the house and have nothing to do but think. If we were to open a Louden in another place, where does FF think would be a good place
It's a decent location, but IMO, you would need to knock it down and rebuild itTake over TWRC for us who park on Helen street.
Its a dump and sadly like the way the stadium bar was it still rakes in plenty due to its location.
I was more thinking of abroad, London's prices aremental
Anyone I know in Lenzie is miserableLenzie - doesn't have any pubs that show football and hardly any Celtic fans. 8 mins on the train to Queen St and good motorway links. No brainer!
Bathgate would be idealSomewhere staunch, Broxburn, Armadale , Whitburn to name a few and it allows fans in the central and East areas the chance to not have to get trains etc to Glasgow
That’s the idea I like a lot. A pal was looking at The Chelsea Pensioner in London for Chelsea fans. Idea was to just buy up pubs solely near stadiums to run as a teams local. The Louden does that perfectly. The Louden concept is fantastic.
So, the question is, do other clubs and especially EPL clubs have anything similar and very close to their grounds?
Because, if they don't, then there is a massive business opportunity for a 'Louden style' pub serving their supporters.
Haha. No, but CumbernauldCroy.

I don;t think the layout is fit for the purpose
I first went to Orlando in 1996, loved the Place, and wanted to go there and open a 'British ' PubOrlando, New York?
Niagara Falls would work but pricy. And all down to marketing really for a Rangers pub outwith Scotland.I spoke too a few lads about New York and Toronto, they don't think there would be a big enough appetite for it

But my wife thought our kids were at the wrong age
Plenty of potential customers out there
Carriages still open but more like an All Bar One these days. The owners of Rasoi, and round about are bears.

I general, pubs seem to last long in Paisley, always loads up for grabsSince you had lots to say re that pub in Paisley, take that on
Tenerife big manI was more thinking of abroad, London's prices aremental
That's a good ideaIf in Glasgow it has to be right next to a subway doesn’t it?
Another shout for city centre.
Or Rangers can just sell me the Edmiston House lolThe most sensible of suggestions so far
Cover both ends of the ground and your footfall on a Saturday home game is complete

Bit of a pub graveyard. Used to be jumpingI general, pubs seem to last long in Paisley, always loads up for grabs
Everything these days is a gamble, especially the Licensed tradeI think if it was the city centre it would have to open all week, given the rents and rates.
Suppose it would get foot fall during the week, but perhaps not enough to cover the costs.
@Robert Marshall.
I am just assuming. You know better than me.
Unfortunately the mentalists would target the pub, like oswalds and toby jug, just not worth the hassle unless it's a big un busy with bears. Wetherspoon sized city centre for me if we forget the negatives.Definitely in Glasgow City centre Robert.
We are vastly outnumbered by mentally challenged slop houses and there would be a big market for a Rangers pub in the toon, maybe serving meals during the day up til about 7pm with videos playing of old classic games/ goals and completed by cultural tunes playing in the background.
I wouldn't have another one in GlasgowThe problem with a second Glasgow location is whether you end up diluting the custom of the original Louden.
Outwith ScotlandAre you thinking within Glasgow or looking at other cities? (To aid with suggestions)
North Belfast or East Belfast along with a supporters clubStuck in the house and have nothing to do but think. If we were to open a Louden in another place, where does FF think would be a good place
Too many old guys up thereCraiglang
Nor if he takes over WRC. It already does a turn on match days and Robert would improve that by miles leading to any not walking past it.The problem with a second Glasgow location is whether you end up diluting the custom of the original Louden.
I have never been to Belfast and I would have thought there were a few there alreadyNorth Belfast or East Belfast along with a supporters club

The market is saturated around FenwayIn New York City the market would be for a Yankees themed pub close to the stadium. Baseball teams play a lot of games at home so the commercial opportunity is there. Not just in New York, but Boston as well.
I don't want to criticise anyone's Club or Pub, but I would have done it differently, we have all have our own ideasNor if he takes over WRC. It already does a turn on match days and Robert would improve that by miles leading to any not walking past it.
