How’s there bandit country in the seat of British power?Maida Vale in London is staunch. We border bandit territory in Kilburn, but we remain staunch.
Strathaven has the chapel on then outskirtsChapels in both towns, unlike staunch Stonehouse!!
The Dolphin is the only pub in Partick I have never set foot in. Smiddy is a Belhaven pub, accommodates their hordes but is a kid on celtic minded pit really. Been in it a few times.Must be those names that attract the mentally challenged- Smiddy and Dolphin pubs in Partick are rat holes as well.
Chapels in both towns, unlike staunch Stonehouse!!
Loyalist MilngavieFrom Milngavie myself and can gladly confirm it is staunchly Rangers!
The orish did %^*& all, arrived and didnt move. They pushed west and helped build America.A bit like they did when arrived in Ulster.
I was brought up in Croftfoot in the 60s & 70s. It was about 90% us in those days, don't know what it's like now.Right next to Linn Park golf course, which is now sadly closed.
Simshill was always seen as a very affluent area of Glasgow southside. It's been known as Timshill for several years now due to the influx. The Smiddy pub was once a great drinking place and hub of the community. Now sadly infested with the rats.
They have 2 RC primary schools within a 2 minute walk of each other in Simshill. Possibly it was an RC school they could not build in Croftfoot?I was brought up in Croftfoot in the 60s & 70s. It was about 90% us in those days, don't know what it's like now.
Story was the housebuilders wouldn't sell land to the RCs to build a chapel, and when they built one on the edge of Simshill the Chapel was giving loans to buy a Simshill house. Simshill primary was expanded in the 60s, as our school (Croftfoot) had a couple of classrooms used for the decanted Simshill classes. Simshill school is long gone and what was King's Park Secondary's hockey pitches has had St Fillans built and rebuilt on them since then. Changed days.
They created ghettos, criminal gangs, alcohol debauched St Patrick’s day parades, fundraisers for terrorists,a few sports people and entertainers and giant peadophile rings. The orish did %^*& all, arrived and didnt move.
They ghettoised and brought their criminal mindset with them. Many Irish Catholics certainly enhanced American culture but in general they did not what all large catholic groups did in the US.The orish did %^*& all, arrived and didnt move.
Came into ports like Philadelphia and New Jersey. Those States and also New York have many place names like East and West Orange, Ulster County, Londonderry etcWhere would the ulster scots/ scots/ prods be situated in the USA.
Dundee was basically Protestant, still has plenty. It had huge amount of factories in Victorian times so some rattlers started to drift across for work from Glasgow and West of Scotland.Never knew that, my dad had a cousin that stayed there.
A prod and supported Dundee.

then they moved on down the Appalachian Mountain country. Virginias, Carolinas, down into Tennessee and North Florida. The “Florida Cracker” was a term for some of them, not much money but stubborn hard working, kinship and could answer back, lots of “crack” a term still used in some of those places for white folk.
They then drifted West, place like Oklahoma, Kansas, North Texas and eventually to California.
Amazing story and influence, became the Americans. When asked if they were Irish upon landing they would strongly say they were Scottish Irish. Scots that lived in Ireland.
Brought the whisky, the fighting spirit and the music from the mountains.
Many Americans that say the have Irish in them don’t even know its the Scots Irish they are. Presbyterian
Some good stuff online about the Scots Irish (Ulster Scots)

Ayrshire is a big Rangers area ,always has been.Outside Glasgow, Johnstone and Renfrew are more Rangers than Celtic.
Coatbridg is not as bad as most people think. Loads of Rangers fans hereCeltic towns and areas that immediately spring to mind are Royston, Coatbridge, Port Glasgow and Clydebank.
Rangers - most of Ayrshire, Bearsden/Milngavie, Newton Mearns, Clarkston, Giffnock, Larkhall, Strathaven, Bridgeton, Cambuslang, Shettleston.
That’s why it’s Bearshire.Ayrshire is a big Rangers area ,always has been.
Yes it is however in the last 20 years it has changed a wee bit from 80/20 to 70/30 imo I seen a guy in Dreghorn this morning wearing a Celtic Trackie top that was something you would never have see beforeAyrshire is a big Rangers area ,always has been.
Randomly came across a live stream of a Loyalist parade in Broxburn on Tiktok last night.Outside Glasgow
Broxburn
Guy in same row as me at Ibrox from Coatbridge and one of the biggest bears you could meet.Coatbridg is not as bad as most people think. Loads of Rangers fans here
Partick is still staunchAs a former resident of Partick, it was very much a Rangers area back then. I doubt it’s changed that much in the last 10 years?
Same as Whiteinch Connell who owned the shipyard had the same conditions , however the RCs got around it eventually and got their chapel built on Dumbarton Rd.The area Gartcosh is situated in was largely owned by 2 sisters who sold land to developers on the grounds that no RC chapel, pub or bookies be built.
No idea how many RC’s actually live there.
Completely agree with this. It's definitely more them, but there's a healthy amount of bears there.Coatbridg is not as bad as most people think. Loads of Rangers fans here
Falkirk has around 12 busses leaving for Ibrox against 2 of theirs. That tells its own story. I was surprised to hear even Hearts can fill a 49 seater leaving from Falkirk to some of the bigger games. The scum are thin on the ground around hereShieldhill to the braes in Falkirk.
Boness
I think Partick must be the most pro-Rangers area of Glasgow. Any time we play at home or old firm days Partick is effectively an annex of Ibrox. Wall to wall bluenoses except a couple of small scum enclaves.Partick is still staunch
I would say Broxburn, Whitburn and Harthill are staunch.Randomly came across a live stream of a Loyalist parade in Broxburn on Tiktok last night.
This 100% Stayed there when I was younger and you always knew you were amongst your own.Dennistoun/Haghill = gods country.
I've always found Cumnock, Auchinleck and New Cumnock to be from good stock.
