Glad about gatusso in all honesty. Gio is my first choice as I’ve stated then lampard.
I am howling
Wonder where they got this.
If it was Dyche we would have heard, given we would have to ask his club for permission to speak to him.Who are the other couple of names?
Was it Lampard and Dyche right enough or just rumours atm?
Excellent update! Thank you.- Rangers have held talks with former player Giovanni van Bronckhorst in London today – with other candidates due to speak to the club this weekend
- Rangers have a shortlist in place as they search for Steven Gerrard’s successor
- I understand former Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes plus ex-Rangers player Rino Gatusso are not options being considered by the club
- Rangers sporting director Ross Wilson is leading the search with the club understood to be focused on getting the right fit for the job and not rushing into a decision
Dear Sky
Wonder where they got this.
All media partners would have been briefed the same info.
Wonder where they got this.
Hope we find out who the other's being interviewed are then. Knutsen and Blessin probably aren't far off the mark
Not a big fan then?Lampard can %^*& off too if he’s on the shortlist. He better not talk his way into this job.
We’ll find some cash for investment.
Can’t stand him. Couldn’t stand Gerrard before he joined either mind you and can’t again now he’s left! Not a big fan then?
You think? I'm no convinced tbh.
Maybe a daft question but does a new manager potentially generate new investment from new or existing investors?
Excellent news,Ross has clearly checked into this thread and listened to my adviceThat's @Midfield General question answered.
Since when was reading the OP before posting a thing?Did you read the OP
Sounds more like Santa's reindeerHopefully the other 2 are Knutsen and Farke.......maybe Blissen?
Not surprised in the slightest though it was only ever being pushed by his agent and friends in the pressGreat news. Glad McInnes is not even getting thought about.
The new manager won't need money to spend. We have a large and very talented squad. The only thing they should need assurance of is that if we are to sell players, they will get a good amount of that money to reinvest. It's gonna be difficult for any potential new manager, consider we haven't a shilling to spend at the minute.
McInnes is on the not being considered list,In fact he is number one candidate on the not being considered list.McInnes better not be on any shortlist
Is this genuine or has someone mocked it up?
Wonder where they got this.
Genuine. Is this genuine or has someone mocked it up?
In my mind, it's why someone like GvB would be perfect for it. The 433 would stay with extra emphasis on high/low block where relevant, smoothing the transition. It's gonna be difficult for any potential new manager, consider we haven't a shilling to spend at the minute.
That is a genuine tweet from Sky SportsIs this genuine or has someone mocked it up?
Aye, next to impossible. Languishing in the league, out of the league Cup, out of Europe. Oh wait a minute. It's gonna be difficult for any potential new manager, consider we haven't a shilling to spend at the minute.
blissen who is this mate ?Hopefully the other 2 are Knutsen and Farke.......maybe Blissen?
Plus couldn't afford the £70k a week he is onCan’t see it being dyche. Would need to pay compensation and he might not want to leave
Just been on SSNIs this genuine or has someone mocked it up?
These are not mutually exclusiveA manager is there for 3 or 4 years.
It's not all about the next game
Remember we no longer pay wages for Gerrard or his coaches, so obviously that money goes to whoever the new coaching team are so no extra expense to the club. We will have 5-6 milion compo for our ex-management team maybe? Used to strengthen team in January plus I'd imagine we could sell 1 or 2 players? You think? I'm no convinced tbh.
Maybe a daft question but does a new manager potentially generate new investment from new or existing investors?
I'm guessing they're not. They've probably been briefed by the same person as the OP.Dear Sky
Since you are checking this thread… get Harry Potter and Andy Wanker to %^*&
I saw Blissen's name mentioned on here yesterday, what's his story? Diego Martinez might be another on the shortlist, out of work and certainly referenced by a few in the media this week.Hopefully the other 2 are Knutsen and Farke.......maybe Blissen?
No
blissen who is this mate ?
Dear Sky, if you are watching this thread, please keep Ian Celtc Crocker and Andy Walker away from Rangers broadcasts for the rest of time.Dear Sky

Koeman would be a disaster. Fell out with everyone at Everton.Ross Wilson was at Southampton at the same time as Ronald Koeman.
We have a squad well capable of lifting the title this year. There is no excuses for anyone coming in.It's gonna be difficult for any potential new manager, consider we haven't a shilling to spend at the minute.

Any manager can be a failure, doesn't mean we should just hire someone without even considering others. I assume we will already have a good idea of that candidates and ideally we would have more time to consider them further, but I think taking an extra day or two to minimise the chance of failure is well worth it considering what is at stake in terms of the league. We could wait an extra couple of days and still get it wrong.
As I said on the thread where someone asked if we’re rushing into this… yes, we should be but that’s as a result of Gerrard and his team doing a mid-season disappearing act. Any failure over the rest of this season is on them.
To be fair, David Graham probably sent the info out at the same time to all media outlets who have paid the cash to the club for presser access, including fan media.Dear Sky

Thanka for the update Mark. I'm glad that we're doing our due diligence and not rushing things.- Rangers have held talks with former player Giovanni van Bronckhorst in London today – with other candidates due to speak to the club this weekend
