This surely cannot be true @Greg Marshall as mine wont arrive for another couple of weeks.
Know of someone going to apply for theirs next week.

I am not worried about this as there will be leeway for such instances. I know someone going up the Monday the week before the game due to work reasons.Know of someone going to apply for theirs next week.
Just spoke to Greg and he has confirmed this is not the case. The ticket won’t be released untill documents have been sent in however there is no deadline.
Can someone please post a copy of the email text?
I've yet to receive TC/TO emails this season for such important details. Guess it might've been something to do with GDPR options but it's still not sorted.
Thanks in advance

@Greg Marshall again is she incorrect here as I know people not going for visas untill next week.
I'm sure she has been with the travel club pre 2012 so it's not as if she is new to this. You would have thought that this would be the one trip they couldn't make as mess of.Just had an email from Marrion Marshall from the ticket office sent from the Travel Club email address:

No landing nor immigration card required.Yes.
Believe you also get given an immigration card to sign when you go through.
You keep 1 half and they keep the other. When you leave you must hand it back over, if you lose it, you pay a fine.
No landing nor immigration card required.
That's what it says on the FCO site last time I lookedI meant when you go through immigration. They give you one.
Don’t they do this?
Does the visa stay in your passport when you get home or do they rip it out when your leaving?
It would have to stay as it's stuck on one of the pages in the passportDoes the visa stay in your passport when you get home or do they rip it out when your leaving?

What's everyone doing about currency? Ordering roubles over here? (If so, where?) Or just lifting from an ATM over there.
Ordered from sainsburys and got just over 80 to the pound. They were delivered today but only because I opted for it. The do store pick up if you are close to a big one. Not had any email and a bit concerned about this. I have my visa though. Why does it have to be so bloody difficult. The whole visa process was difficult enough and not sure why I have had no email from the TC.I hope she’s wrong as they tried to deliver mine yesterday but I was out and the next time I’ll be home is next Friday.
This seems the best rate and can collect nearby. Thanks.I'm going to use here....

Many thanks mate, that worked a treat. I will buy you a beer in the Moscow HiltonLog into your account and under Travel Club and matches you should have the option to buy? You need to email the TC a copy of your visa and itinerary.

By the not very extensive searching I've done so far I think we're looking at average £3.00-£3.50 a pint but local beer might be even cheaper.Whats average for a pint over there lads? I heard Moscow can be an expensive city.
No but click and collect option...Have you used them before?
Which one, there's a KFC not far from the Novotelyou can get a pint of bud in kfc in Moscow for 90p a pint.
as for currency I use the fairfx everywhere card you can load it with pounds and withdraw from atms in Russia in rubles or use it chip and pin in shops bars ect, go for the business and personal use card and it will cost 50p plus 1.4 % for every transaction instead of a pound for personal use.
Knew there was a reason I’d booked the Novotel!Which one, there's a KFC not far from the Novotel
