Bit of a reach that considering there's still a full week left.Looks more and more likely we are going with what we have
If so its proper disappointing we are at this point weaker than we came into the window that's not how you improve as a team
Id rather we stayed away from the english league / market to be honest, these players always seem to come with some sort of baggage or whatever. Like bacuna, good player in dutch league, goes to england and falls off a cliff? The boy at Leeds?
We also have a squad of 28 players as it stands which is far too many and that's before you consider the youngsters like Alex Lowry. Ideally we would be able to shift a few of them on but that requires offers being received for them and players wanting to go.If anyone is coming in it’s going to be late. January is a terrible month for transfers as clubs hold out for bigger fees and very rarely let someone go unless they have signed a replacement. Whilst IMO we do need an out and out right winger I don’t think it would be a disaster if no one comes in. Aribo coming home early is like a new signing and has already injected the fear into them. I have full belief in Gio and the rest of the back room team no matter what happens.
we probably wont bring anyone in,just my opunion of courseAbsolutely nothing comes out of Ibrox now. Long gone are days of blow by blow transfer dealing accounts from the ITKs.
Has anyone got even a wee rumour? Haha
Any news on Skov Olsen potentially going to Club Brugge?
I see the P&J reported that Bologna tabled a bid for Aberdeen's Ramsay for £3m+

I imagine they’ll be wanting add ons, but could see them settling at £3m basic - I’d like them to ask for a bit more though. Are they accepting it?
Didn't think he was great against us the other day tbh
I doubt they’ll sell below £5m.I imagine they’ll be wanting add ons, but could see them settling at £3m basic - I’d like them to ask for a bit more though.

Does he? It’s his ability to beat a man that’s stood out to me.Hopefully.
Doubt Bologna would pay that though.
He’d be brilliant in their system, unlikely Hickey he has a really good final ball.
Aye, Ramsay’s crossing is very good 6/7 assists this season I’m sure whilst Hickey hasn’t registered one in two seasons.Does he? It’s his ability to beat a man that’s stood out to me.
Hopefully.

He’d be brilliant in their system, unlike Hickey he has a really good final ball.
They’ll pay it. About to get 5m euros for that Danish wingerHopefully.

I thought he was very good defensively against us.From what ive seen of him the final ball is all he has
He seems to be very poor defensively and Aberdeen clearly made a point of having players help him through our game the one time kent got a go at him one v one he landed on his back side
Seems a big fee for someone so raw
They are doing extremely well getting more than 3 imo but I do like the player I think in a few years he will be in a good placeThey were speculating on Sportsound yesterday that Aberdeen wanted around 7m for Ramsay, which is probably their starting position to get ~5m

Can we agree to stop bringing up Skov Olsen? Not happening and there’s been no suggestion it was genuine anyway.
Oh, they can. Money is crazy down there even at that level. I just think Goldson is a better player than the Championship - if both teams stay in that division. I would be surprised if he left us to go and play at that level but who knows?I thought alot of championship clubs could pay more than us?
I still think he is running down his contract and is off in the summer. At this point, I'd take Goldson signing a new deal as our only business, as this would be a massive boost to the team I reckon.
Big Amo’s young brotherI want wee amoo or similar
Would you pay 10k a week for Barker?Surely we can get someone to take Barker on loan?
Difficult when he's barely kicked a ball in three seasons and on a decent wage rumoured to be £10,000 a week courtesy of Mark Allen.Surely we can get someone to take Barker on loan?
The Buffs maybe?Surely we can get someone to take Barker on loan?
A club would take him on loan for the last 6 months but we'd still have to pay a chunk of his wageDifficult when he's barely kicked a ball in three seasons and on a decent wage rumoured to be £10,000 a week courtesy of Mark Allen.
Even his performance against Stirling Albion was rotten.
I don't actually think that Ross Wilson is to blame here in fairness.Serious questions would need to be asked of Ross Wilson if we again, fail to strengthen our first 11 in this window. The second window in a row we are seeing zero improvement at a very critical time.
Most likely the bulk of the wages unless he gets a pay off.A club would take him on loan for the last 6 months but we'd still have to pay a chunk of his wage
And that's the problem. Because of our stuttering form at the start of the season which SG couldn't resolve (and presumably as we failed to get in to CL, there was nae money available), followed by SG bailing, we're now left with trying to do lots of stuff in a January transfer window which just isn't possible.Completely agree with everything you’ve said, just think it boils down to the fact January is a nightmare of a window to sign people unless ooc or clubs needing to offload. There will be targets in mind it’s just securing them for the right money will be the issue I think.
Did Oxford pay 10k of his wages?Would you pay 10k a week for Barker?
Yeah, you're right. I still have nightmares about Maniero and Jeffers! Some of our best transfers have come on the closing days, relax and trust the process
Anything is better than nothing I suppose. Sounds like he’s happy to run his contract down though.Did Oxford pay 10k of his wages?
Im sure if we were loaning him another club would be paying a chunk of his wages.
I like ur positivelySome of our best transfers have come on the closing days, relax and trust the process

What if Gio is happy to with what he has as the right player isn’t available?
I don't think you can blame Ross Wilson. He is doing not bad considering he obviously hasn't been given a penny to spend for 3 windows.Serious questions would need to be asked of Ross Wilson if we again, fail to strengthen our first 11 in this window. He can be relaxed, but it’s quite clear watching us in the way Gio plays that we’re short of quality on that right wing position. Failing to upgrade after getting a hefty sum of money for Patterson and gerrard would be very risky from the board considering what is at stake. What if Gio is happy to go with what he has as the right player isn’t available?
We are all big daft weans when it comes to transfers, but Gio in particular seems very relaxed about it all.
He’s hardly going to come out stating he’s unhappy etc. What if Gio is happy to go with what he has as the right player isn’t available?
