Another ITK account, great. He has set the tone that the priority is to work and work hard. Start as you mean to go on Michael
also heard players were and are buzzingApparently he pushed training so he could take it and had the players doing fitness tests. No fu.cking about. What's not to love.
Good news if true. We need the players onside and eager to go.also heard players were and are buzzing
Jumps the shark?FF jumps the shark again as the new manager takes training to make the most of the time available before they got a notification on their phone saying he was the manager
He has set the tone that the priority is to work and work hard. Start as you mean to go on Michael
Of them land sharks because all the water fell off a dugs backJumps the shark?
100 percent correct.Touchy subject regarding Beale et al but no offense to Gio I don't see Beale sitting in the stands against Hibs in the semi final and I don't see him wasting time today for formalities. Get in do your business quickly.
He's an asset we could lose for nothing, a new deal protects the asset. He doesn’t deserve a new deal.
If that was prioritised before announcing to fans first then it's misguided at best. Nothing would change by announcing first or training being delayed as a result. A simple message on website or twitter would suffice.
In no way should a simple training session be priority over customers. Especially for a company who already have well documented communication issues with customers.
He doesn’t deserve a new deal.
Stop this wee Beale chat. We demand that managers respect the club, wear a suit and represent us. Wee Beale. The mind boggles.Manager took
yup
But they didn’t tell us until half 5 in the evening. The bastards.Apparently he pushed training so he could take it and had the players doing fitness tests. No fu.cking about. What's not to love.
Why can’t some fans bear to see this player moved on? Quite incredible after his unprofessional anticsSure, let's hope a player can't get back to his best then let him go for free,
Kill two birds with one stone right there, would you?
100% agree with this mate. Great post.I actually can't believe some are moaning he took a training session today before being officially announced. How can anyone draw a negative from that?
Before Rangers were ready to announce it the media team would have needed pictures taken, interviews etc for our in house content before releasing to media.
And given that today was the first day back for the players and Beale wanted them reporting for a session to be led by him at 2pm gives out the message to them all he is not for fukin about.
The extremely easy option would be to have let them all come in and doss about the gym whilst he does the media stuff and make tomorrow the first day.
I can only see positives in what Beale did today.
How do people still not understand this? One had a permit to work in the UK and one didn’t. This nonsense continues.
Sitting pissing myself at this. Read the original tweet and never batted and eyelid till you pointed it out.Jumps the shark?
We don’t deserve to lose him for nothingHe doesn’t deserve a new deal.
There is at least one diehard bluenose on this forum called Mick.Eff giving the jakeys a monopoly on the name Mick
Gio didn’t have a work permit. Why does this pish constantly get used as a stick to beat him with?100 percent correct.
And there are a f*ckload of Terrys. There is at least one diehard bluenose on this forum called Mick.
Quite a take that.I Hope Alfie can get back to his best under a manager that knows him, then sign a new deal.
Jumps the shark?
Quite a take that.
Poor Alfie, close to tears thinking about what has been forced upon him.
and a load of chocolate oranges. And there are a f*ckload of Terrys.
Correct.He doesn’t deserve a new deal.
Right now no one IMO would offer £2m for him.Like I said if he gets back to his best, plus it would be bad business to let him run down his contract,
@wother1690 you raging
Gio didn’t have a work permit. Why does this pish constantly get used as a stick to beat him with?
Lauders you really need to calm down on the Morelos chat hahaCorrect.
I find it embarrassing seeing the usual posters happy to forget all of his pish not just this season but every season he’s been here.
This season should be the final straw, no more chances as we know the next Morelos circus act will never be far away.
Bit early to be rattling into the booze and gearThen we saw his football, now we’re a Beale-ievers,
Out of sight…going out of our minds,
We’re in love, ooooohhhh were Beale-ievers,
He would’nt leave us if he tried!
and a load of chocolate oranges.
The booze to gear ratio is all wrong here. You can’t drink yourself out of a K-hole.Bit early to be rattling into the booze and gear
Have you seen how they drive in TurkeyRidvan nearly rattling the gates at the end there
Never too early for some positivity mate, especially on here!Bit early to be rattling into the booze and gear
It is, except for the fact that he couldn't as he didn't have clearance to do so.100 percent correct.
We don’t deserve to lose him for nothing
Very encouraged by this, something that’s been severely missing imho.Apparently he pushed training so he could take it and had the players doing fitness tests. No fu.cking about. What's not to love.
He has been away for a year so it may be easier than just walking into the job. He’s had a defined break from coach to manager.Part of the issue Beale is going to have is the transition from coach to manager in the eyes of the players.
The majority of them know him in the former role, but there are different behaviours and relationships required for the latter that can be difficult to surmount at times.
I know Walter managed it just fine and the hope is that our new manager can do the same, but how he handles that could be key to his success in the short to medium term.
Most of the players will still see him as the coach though. He’ll need to navigate the transition to manager with a degree of subtlety and skill. He has been away for a year so it may be easier than just walking into the job. He’s had a defined break from coach to manager.
No, but you can bet the SFA would have been all over it. There are many things, if you so wish, to have a go at GvB about, but made up pish isn't one of them.Would the home office have had him deported if he had went down and said a few words in the dressing room at half time?
I knowIt's the club's responsibility to get maximum returns on their assets by selling at the right times.
