Jenas is absolute torture.
The problem with Hartson is that he doesn’t own an ounce of professionalism, his commentary is just like a supporter and he sees everything through red or green tinted glasses. It doesn’t matter how poor Wales play, Hartson finds a way to declare a good Wales result “no more than Wales deserve”.
Dublin….lispy twat….Hartson, Dublin and Jenas absolute nightmare. You'd think they were world class the way they make comments about far better players than they ever were
Don't actually mind the females point of view on the games, I like the varied opinions. This is the men’s World Cup, I’d like to hear men’s opinions on it.
So get all these women off the panels and hosts
The counter argument is that during the women’s World Cup it should be hosted and commentated by women.
That said I wouldn’t actually watch the women’s World Cup as it’s truly awful.
Bin the women hosts, they are dumming down the coverage
Andros Townsend has been decent.
He’s the worst of the lot and incredibly he’s been told he is replacing lineker when he retires. That Jenas on the BBC is a dumpling. Utterly hopeless.
He's cheap? Why does he keep getting employed? No one wants to hear the slabbering shite his single braincell generates.
Clinton Morrison. Not sure who the idiot co-commentating (the guy) on Uruguay v Korea is but jeezus wept describing Korea as absolutely hanging in there when it’s 0-0 is fuckwittery of Hartson levels.
"I don't understand how hitting the post isn't on target"
It is a valid point though. Shots at goal - the goal is the target.
Is it not Danny Murphy? Doesn’t sound like Clinton MorrisonClinton Morrison.
The post isn't the goal thoughIt is a valid point though. Shots at goal - the goal is the target.
He also stated that the threat from Barasic from down the left would be a worry for them........He wasn't even in the starting 11 ffs!!At the start of Morocco vs Croatia today the commentator asked Hartson what he expected from the game “a lot of goals” was his answer. Turned out to be the first 0-0 of the tournament.
Couldn't believe he said that...muppet"I don't understand how hitting the post isn't on target"
Murphy on telly, Morrison on radio. Is it not Danny Murphy? Doesn’t sound like Clinton Morrison
Agree. The commentator on the Korea game sounds like a kids presenter and most of the guest pundits are clearly not used to having to talk at length on TV. Seems like the established pundit teams have been diluted with amateurs. I switch on at kick off and off at full time. Both BBC and ITV try and produce coverage for the stupidest person. That way everyone will understand it. I would love to see some knowledgeable pundits and journalists heavily involved in the coverage, going into good detail and insight, but it's probably felt that would put off casual viewers.
Lee Dixon was great on MOTD2. Majorly downhill since then.I used to rate Lee Dixon back in the day, but ever since he's moved to ITV he sounds like somebody's given him a permanent supply of barbiturates mixed with valium
The posts and bar surround the target. They are not part of the target. It is a valid point though. Shots at goal - the goal is the target.
Question from Murphy in Korea match - Why do they call shots hitting the post off-target?Danny Murphy on BBC1 just now has the charisma of a pencil
Funny to think though, you can hit a shot off target and scoreQuestion from Murphy in Korea match - Why do they call shots hitting the post off-target?
Answer - Because they are off-target. The target is between the posts.
He is the new Mark LawrensonI have a new found disrespect for Germ Jenas. A total prick.
He also stated that the threat from Barasic from down the left would be a worry for them........He wasn't even in the starting 11 ffs!!
Why would hitting the post be the target. It is a valid point though. Shots at goal - the goal is the target.
It's astonishing this has run to a few replies. Hitting the post or bar is categorically not on target. I would suggest that people who think otherwise should be listed under knowing f##k all about football. Why would hitting the post be the target.
The target is surely between the posts. If you hit the post its not the intended target (the net)
