You’re probably right mate, this old bassa’s memory getting things wrong!I think he scored that at the other end mate. Plus we played in a white strip that day.

Who is the 2nd goalie???)
Not 100% convinced we wore all blue socks in this final. The photo above looks as though it has been colourised & whoever done it may have guessed what colour the socks were that night. We mostly wore all red socks whilst playing in Europe prior to this, so they may have been all red. Unless someone who was there can verify we won't really know for sure . Unless a real colour photo surfaces. We wore all-blue socks for the Cup-Winners Cup Final in 1967. I've not seen any more images of blue/white though:

Opening league game of the 1969-70 season on August 30th, a fresh faced Colin Stein challenges at Tannadice in a game which ended in a disappointing 0-0 draw.
It's my pleasure mate. Here's that beam-back at Ibrox. There were almost as many at this as at the actual game (43,000 to just over 50,000). By the look of the images here the picture quality wasn't too bad for 1968!:
Celtic 2-4 Rangers, 14th September 1968. The scene outside the piggery as the supporters make their way home (or more likely the pub!):
Remember watching from the Broomloan end that night.(only 9 at the time).Amazing photo this
That old railway bridge(long gone) is where the FB's used to throw half bricks at us when we were coming out of the Cover Up Club.Classic Auchenshuggle bus haha
Think it is David McKellar.
It was! Rangers v Bayern was on STV. Celtic v Inter was on BBC. I remember it well. The kick-offs were staggered at the request of the police. We kicked off at 7.30. They started at 8pm. Because of the extra time they didn't finish until close to 10.30pm. I just got home as the penalty shootout started and I saw it live. The filth's game wasn't live on TV.
